Bee Girl Battler

These are edits of a battler found here:

Note:  This site has some great battlers, but some are nude, so don’t visit the site unless you are an adult in your country and its not against the law to see nudes, I don’t know I’m just trying to cover my ass here.

The original is a spider girl with a really well done web design in the background.

So make sure you credit the site at the very least and if the name of the artist is eventually revealed credit them along with my friend NYX from the RPG Maker Web forum who pointed this out to me and suggested most of the design.  Basically I wouldn’t have done this without her ideas.

Female Thief Variants

Cross Knight Battlers

These are recolors to reflect this sprite sheet from Relaxed Chillin.

I made these with GIMP using the original Paladin_M image included with the Ace RTP.

If you would like to try and make your own colors or clean things up (I know there are people who rather) I’ve also included the overlays I created and used below.

If you are using GIMP (and probably other software) you just copy and paste these on top of the Paladin_M image after making necessary changes.

Hope this helps.  If you use these to make something better let me know, cause well, I like having more RTP related graphics.

Looking again, I’m not really a fan of the black or red ones. Maybe I’ll redo those.

How do you make battlers like this? I’m looking to make a battler version of the King in the rtp and have no idea how to start….

Well I take existing battlers and cut out things I don’t want and paste in new stuff mostly. The hardest part is getting the right kind of graphics to mash up. For the King for example you might take the face graphic, reduce it in size and paste it on the head of another battler (though I looked and I couldn’t find a suitable battler to try this with, but I don’t know what kind of king you want). Another approach is to take a battler (adjust some of the colors) and add some animation images like I did for the Female Thief images. Of course it just occurred to me you might have been asking about which program to use: I use GIMP because it is free and does a good job, but a lot of people use Adobe Photoshop. If you happen to be good a drawing free hand I would suggest heading over to Division Heaven (link under Graphic Resources) because Nessiah does some demonstration videos of how she draws the great graphics she does.

as for the kind of king: I was just hoping it could be a plain battler version of the rtp king, but with him holding a sword.
