Have been reading this~
Looks interesting, albeit the setting is a bit fantasy-generic. But I guess the details can make it unique even then.
The characters have a big bunch of habilities, and all of them look strong and useful, so I wonder what kind of habilities will have the enemies to compensate.
I’m going to try and make the enemies interesting as well since two of the characters gain abilities from enemies albeit in different ways. This is going to be a lot of work.
Fantasy generic is were I’m kind of stuck since I’m not an artist and I want to avoid making too many requests or form a team until I can complete at least one game because I feel that is better.
Well, that’s a good reason actually. Anyway, editing the rtp graphics to make other tilesets is easier than it looks. It’s just very scary to start. I’m making some for my game from scratch, so I’ll probably make a tutorial on it someday soon.
Just for fun: In my project you can and must get enemy skills, too. In fact, it’s the only way to get skills…

I have done some tile edits before, but I was never satisfied with the results. I should probably learn to do that.
I’d like to see your project I bet it will be fun, but if your like me it will be a while.
